Marth Mariyam Vanitha Samajam is the women’s fellowship of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church and one of the oldest spiritual organizations of the Church. Named after the Blessed Virgin Mary (St. Mary), it was established to bring together women of the Church for spiritual growth, fellowship, and active participation in the mission of the Church.

MMVS plays a vital role in empowering women to grow in their faith and serve the Church and community through prayer, Bible study, charity, and outreach programs. It encourages members to lead a Christ-centered life while supporting families, nurturing the next generation, and engaging in various social and spiritual initiatives.

Our MMVS members are active participants in various events such as Bible quizzes, bake sales, pickle sales, and other fundraising and community-building activities. Their dedication and involvement contribute greatly to the life and spirit of the parish.
